In the year 325 C.E., the Emperor of Rome, Constantine the Great, who was a pagan in his beliefs, was responsible for the first official gathering of the Roman Catholic Church--the Council of Nicaea. From that first council, to the protestant reformation movement  in 1517, Catholic-dominated Christianity, and its official Latin language, was the only form of the religion on the planet. However, according to scientific research conducted by Wiley InterScience, in an article that appeared in the Archeaometry Journal published by the University of Oxford, the earliest evidence of the use of indigenous bitumen in ancient Egypt would have been no sooner than in 900 B.C.E, a huge discrepancy of 627 years after the birth of Moses.
